Builder sources
Each builder page includes its direct source list. Company claims are identified as public/manufacturer statements and should be rechecked when a quote is issued.
Datasets used in charts
These are the measured datasets behind the charts on this site. Each was retrieved from the publisher named, on the date shown, and is reproduced with its datum and epoch stated so the figures can be checked.
| Dataset | Publisher | Detail | Retrieved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semidiurnal tidal planes, Queensland | Maritime Safety Queensland | 264 locations; heights above Queensland Port Datum (LAT 1992), Tidal Datum Epoch 2010–2029. 19 standard ports charted. | 12 September 2026 |
| Modular pontoon kit and component prices | Aussie Dock; T-Dock | Advertised online prices for assembled kits and individual cubes and fittings. | 12 September 2026 |
Prices and tidal planes both change. Figures on this site are a snapshot for comparison, not a quote and not a design input — take design levels from the current published tide tables and prices from a current written quote.
What we do not publish
Where a number is not available from a source we can cite, this guide does not estimate one. There is no national price-per-metre table here, and no invented cost breakdown, because the site works, approvals and access that dominate a pontoon budget vary too much to average honestly.
